13 Here is another thing you do. You cover the LORD’s altar with tears, weeping and groaning because he pays no attention to your offerings and doesn't accept them with pleasure.

14 You cry out, “Why doesn’t the LORD accept my worship?”

I’ll tell you why! Because the LORD witnessed the vows you and your wife made when you were young. But you have been unfaithful to her, though she remained your faithful partner, the wife of your marriage vows.

15 Didn't the LORD make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his.

AND WHAT DOES HE WANT?

Godly children from your union.

So

1. guard your heart;
2. remain loyal to the wife of your youth.

16 “For I hate divorce!” says the LORD, the God of Israel. “To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. “So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife.”

Malachi 2:13-16

Referring to the biblical account of Abraham's unwavering faith, in Genesis 22, we read that God is pleased with Abraham's obedience by almost carrying out the sacrifice of his son, Isaac. However, after further noting, his act was a honorable act of spiritual leadership in his household, for God wants parents and adults to establish a spiritual foundation in our innocent youth.

Genesis 22:17 "...your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies".

In other words, NOT you, on the contrary, your seeds shall storm the gates of hell! Yet, take note that as Men of God, YOU are responsible for the spirituality of your child(ren) because they (your seed) will crush the ruler-ship of Satan.

And we know this because the LORD our God came to us through Jesus Christ. So that we may receive and believe in Christ for the purpose of becoming reborn, not physically, however, a birth that comes from God only(John 1:15). Giving you the wisdom to raise HIS children as your inheritance.

3 Children are a gift from the LORD;
they are a reward from him.
⁴ Children born to a young man
are like arrows in a warrior’s hands.
⁵ How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them!
He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.

Psalm 127: 3-5

Wisdom derived from the words:

wise- meaning to have a power of discernment and judging properly as to what is true and right; discernment and good judgement based on either scholarly knowledge or something learned through experiences.

and

-dom: (this is where the word get interesting) For the suffix -dom, which formulates a noun into a state or condition, rank or office, a collection of persons, and (my favorite) domain.

Therefore, wisdom is a state of being (like a position or rank), which over time is acquired. No man can have infinite wisdom overnight. Time brewed with real experiences creates a wise man.

As Christian Men, wisdom lends a hand with many major decisions. For any decision made now shall affect us for a decade.

If you're a seasoned Christian man, one who has been through the full effect of seeing God's mercy and grace, then you already know of this wisdom, more importantly, how to seek and gain this wisdom.

However, those of you who've recently accepted Christ as your Lord and saviour, still may find yourself at a fork in the road and ask: "How do I then obtain this wisdom?

If so, here's a few tips on how you can bring about and activate this wisdom.

First, each day you must effectively and accordingly plan to aclimate yourself better with the Lord by PRAYER. In doing so, you'll develop an intimate relationship with your Father.
 
Second, you must READ and STUDY (meditate) the ultimate source of wisdom: the Word of God. Understand that Jesus and many of his disciples spoke in parables. That's ok. In this age, there are appropriate means and ways to comprehend the message.

Third, SACRIFICE. Luckily for us we no longer have to offer God any "physical" sacrifice. Do you know why? Well, simply put, when Jesus Christ was crucified, he shed the last drop of blood of sacrifice for us. Hallelujah! So, how do we show a display of sacrifice towards God? Tithes and offerings. It's a form of a love sacrifice or obedient worship. God ONLY asks for a tenth, 10th, 10%! Seriously, we owe God waaaaay more. But, that's the thing about God, he understands we need money to fund our ministries. So, making money is a good thing. Making a considerable amount of money is even better. Don't skip over this step!

Fourth, attend CHURCH. Only a few times out the month. SYKE! Every - I mean EVERY Sunday. Luke 4:16 (NLT)

 16 When he (Jesus) came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the Scriptures.

Enough said.

Fifth, "YOU are the COMPANY who YOU keep." Re-evaluate the friendships and ASSOCIATIONS you interact with.
